A large share of applications are rejected by software before a person reads them — often on formatting and vocabulary rather than on ability. HyreMe exists to close that gap, without asking you to hand your career history to anyone.

A desktop application, not a subscription
HyreMe reads your resume, turns it into a structured profile, scores that profile the way an Applicant Tracking System would, rewrites it against its own report, and — when you point it at a specific posting — produces a resume and cover letter tailored to that role.
It runs on your computer. Your profile, your resume text and every document it generates are files in your own application data folder. There is no HyreMe database with your career history in it, because we did not build one. The AI connection is built into the app, so there is no provider account to open and no key to manage either.
Every account gets a free allowance each month — 20 profile credits and 10 Score-up credits — which is enough to fix a resume properly rather than to sample the idea. Packs top that up and add the job-cycle credits the two employer-specific features run on. Nothing recurs, and that is the entire business model.

Reads the page, not the encoding
Text recognition runs on-device, so broken PDF character maps — LinkedIn's export among them — cannot silently mangle your keywords.
Scores across several dimensions
Keyword coverage, format, section completeness, readability and role fit are scored separately, then combined, so a single flaw shows up instead of averaging away.
Verifies every rewrite twice
A deterministic numeric check and a separate claim audit. Whatever they reject is reverted to your own wording and listed.
Writes real PDFs
Resumes, reports and cover letters are generated as structured documents an ATS can parse and a person can read.
Engineering choices, not marketing ones
Most of what makes HyreMe different is invisible from a feature list, so it is worth writing down.
The app is built on your operating system's own web engine rather than bundling a browser, which is why it is 8.3 MB rather than 200. The Rust layer underneath does almost nothing — a window, file storage, outbound HTTP — because the less there is, the less there is to go wrong or to leak.
An activity log records every step and every token spent, and all six system prompts are editable. If you want to know why HyreMe said something, you can go and read the instruction that produced it.
Three things we were not willing to do
Every product decision here started as a thing we refused, and the shape of the app followed from that.
Store your career history
A resume holds your address, your employers, your phone number and a decade of your life. Collecting that at scale creates a target and a temptation. So the app keeps your data on your machine and we keep none of it.
Put the basics behind a paywall
Iterating is the only thing that actually improves a resume, so a tool that charges for the second attempt is charging for the part that works. Every account gets twenty builds and ten rewrites a month, free and renewed — enough to iterate properly, not a taste of it. Editing and PDF export are never counted at all.
Let the AI make things up
A resume you cannot defend in an interview is worse than a weak one. Two verification passes sit between the model and your document, and whatever they reject goes back to your own words.

The AI runs through us now
Earlier builds asked you to connect your own AI provider. That is gone: HyreMe now includes the connection and your credits pay for it, which is why usage is counted in credits rather than left open.
English resumes read best
The bundled recognition model is English-only; Chinese, Japanese and Korean PDFs are out of scope for now. Generated documents follow your resume's language where it can be detected.
